Snoqualmie

Hi Folks! Pete has asked me to be his "guest contributor" for this post. So here it goes...

I flew into Sea-Tac from Dallas on Friday, drove down to Portland to catch the show at Roseland Theater. It was a beautiful day and I had a hard time keeping my eyes on the road for the amazing views of Mt. Ranier & Mt. Hood. What a fantastic country we have. I arrived at the hotel just minutes before the boys, I get to put another check mark in the win column :) Pete took me to Jake's for a wonderful seafood dinner and then off to the show. As Pete said, the show was great. Davey commented to me during one of his offstage moments that they were really on it and the crowd that packed the Roseland assured them they were. Thanks, Portland! It was my first time to your city and I will be back soon!!

The next morning, Pete & I headed out for Snoqualmie. The weather had turned rainy, as it does, but an easy drive through trees, trees, trees. We don't grow em like that in Texas! Snoqualmie Casino is beautiful and the room was amazing, great PA, stage, and lighting. The staff is highly professional and took very good care of everyone. Speaking of everyone, I got to meet Derek Sutton and Steve Shail for the first time in person. Mike Gladstone was there too! It was great seeing friends, old and new. The show, like Portland, was great. The house was packed, the sound fantastic, the light show one of the best I've seen, and the performance supreme! Laurie, Dave & Steve, you guys are amazing. Thanks for all you do taking care of the boys in the band on the road. And special thanks to all you fans out there, you folks make it all worthwhile. Now, before the next leg gets going....

It's time to paint the house....

All the best
Mrs. Thompson.......
