THE FIRST TIME I HAVE PLAYED THIS GIG ,AND ITS LIKE A LOT OF THE HOB's,VERY INTERESTING TO LOOK AT , AS A VENUE AND ALWAYS VERY WELL ORGANISED.......WE HIT THE STAGE AT 9 PROMPT,AND PLAYED AS WELL AS WE COULD WITH THE DRY SOUND ON STAGE AFFECTING EVERYONE OF US UP THERE ,YOU HAD TO WORK VERY HARD TO GET SOMETHING OUT OF YOUR INSTRUMENT AT THIS GIG , AS THERE WAS NO NATURAL ROOM AMBIANCE, THICK CURTAIN ALL AROUND THE STAGE AND ANOTHER 40 FT HIGH CEILING . THE CROWD WAS JUST FANTASTIC THOUGH AND WE GAVE WHAT EVER WE HAD LEFT IN THE TANK. AFTER A HUMID , SWEATY , DRY AND NOISY GIG , WE MET SO MANY HAPPY BODIES AFTERWARDS BACK OUT ON THE STREET AND THE NEXT DAY TOO IN THE STREET . VERY COOL PLACE . THE HOTEL IS /WAS AN OLD BANK BUILT IN 1845 , ALL PILLARS AND STONE AND BANK LIKE I GUESS . I THINK I STAYED IN THE CASHIERS OFFICE ON THE 15 TH FLOOR . OFF TO THE ROYAL OAK TONITE ......SEE YA !!!

Hey Pete,
ReplyDeleteGreat show in Cleveland. As a "thank you" I gave your merchandising man some F.O.P courtesy cards for you and the rest of the band. Hope you got them. Take care.
